B-isms

Miss B has been hanging out in the office with me today because of Presidents Day. So here are a couple of B-isms for you....

This morning with the Mr looking for the DS charger.
B: Why don't you know where your charger is?

Mr: I don't know maybe because I am losing all of my technology. My DS has been gone for months. And my digital camera is gone too.

B: Well I suggest you try keeping your technology in your office. Then you wouldn't keep losing it all of the time.

***Miss B pretty much took the DS over the instant he opened the package. I, Kally, have the camera in my purse at all times. :)

A couple of minutes ago....

***B was on her Eee PC***
B: I had 164 Requests on my Facebook account! I can NEVER let this happen. AGAIN. Cause this stuff is way too important.

**I was struggling to keep the straight face while thinking of how many adults would agree with her last thought. Face-crack has lured yet another in.

Morning Conversations with B

Miss B: Is it February yet?
Kally: No, it's still January. Why do you ask?
B: I am tired of January. I just wish it was February.
K: Why? (trying not to laugh)
B: Can you just tell me when it is February? I am through with this month.

-Wow, the things massive amounts of homework can do to a kid. She is ready to omit a month from the calendar. What she doesn't know is I plan on celebrating the end of the giant homework projects with a day of pampering for her. This will include a mani-pedi, possibly a mini shopping spree, and dinner out. (B will LOVE it. She is all about being treated like a diva.)

Kally Cooks Again

Today I was informed by the Mr that I will need to cater snacks for the next "planning meeting" at work. Personally, I believe the only planning that went on today was -how to get Kally to bake for us- and MAYBE some company planning too. I am thinking of making some ginger cookies next. The Mr says I have many willing test subjects for any new recipes I want to try out. Hahaha! Men...B-O-Y-S....all of them.

Here is a little B-ism for you:
Last Sunday I took her grocery shopping with me and left the list at home. -D'oh! I hate it when I forget the list!- So here I was shopping from memory & asking Miss B if there was anything special she would like. And Soooo, while I only half listened, she began with her list: "I would like ice cream, pomegranates, bananas, latkes, turkey, pasta, and a griffin. Unfortunately, there are some things you just can't get from Albertsons."

Whow! Back the trolley up! Did B just ask me for a griffin? Where do they come up with these things?!

I Forgot

To all that are wondering the Fabulous Miss B is doing ....well fabulous. She loves the new school and has made many friends quickly. The aftercare program is full so when school gets out Mr C makes a run to the school to pick her up. This afternoon she came to the office without any homework so to keep her from I asked her if she would like to pull up a chair and be my co-pilot. She gives me a look like I asked if she would like to eat dog food and tells me "No, not really." and once again my darling girl walks off leaving me grateful that I have such a loving child.
