Cool Mommy Tip

I just heard the coolest tip evah!! This is for moms, babysitters, anyone within the vicinity of a toddler (or even a really creative older child).

Who doesn't have a story about a budding Picasso/Degas/Renoir? Hey the little artist in question might even be you!?! I was the little wall artist in the family growing up. I don't know how many "masterpieces" I left on the walls for my mom. Then, poor mom was left with crayon to clean off the walls. Oh yeah, one time I used her Cherry Red nail polish because I was in a painting kind of mood. Her screams were so high pitched she put Mariah Carey to shame.

BUT I digress back to the crayons here is what to do if your kiddo gets a little crafty: Put a dab of non-gel toothpaste on the spot and rub it in. The crayon will come right off. How cool is that?

The only tip I have for those with multi-media lovin' kids is to lock up the nail polish. Sorry Mom.

Non-gel toothpaste? What the heck. I have no idea if my toothpaste is gel or not. I'm going to wonder about it until I go look....

This is even a good tip for those of us with teenagers in the house! We still get lots and lots of marks on the walls, even though they're not necessarily those of a budding Renoir! Hey, thanks so much for coming by yesterday and participating in my SITS Featured Blogger Day in the Sun! It's so nice to see a familiar face in the torrent of Comment Love!

I love those magic eracers. Also baking soda works on plastics and walls that don't have flat paint!
